Each project is supported by a team of up to 5 learners, contributing a combined 150 hours (approximately 30 hours per learner) over 6–8 weeks. Projects are remote, part-time, and scoped to provide real-world experience for learners while delivering meaningful outcomes for employers.


Project types vary and may include work in marketing, research, operations, design, data analysis, and more.

There is no cost to employers. Learners receive a $300 stipend upon successful completion of the project, funded by AscentUP.

Deliverables will vary depending on the project scope. At the conclusion of the project you will have assets that can be used to further your business goals, such as a completed report, digital marketing campaign, or database administration.

  • Kick off – Projects run remotely over 6–8 weeks, with flexible scheduling and light time commitments from your team.
  • Wrap-up – You’ll receive final deliverables and have the chance to provide feedback to learners.
